01. introduction
Leah Mosier is a designer, engineer, and communication guru. From solar powered amps to sustainable makeup, bicycle generators to rock climbing design projects, chicken incubators to environmental justice, Leah leaves her mark through projects that have purpose. She is the founder and CEO of Sustain Tomorrow, where she strives to use design thinking to guide corporations, universities, and utilities to solve pressing problems.
02. experience
Leah’s educational background is in education, sustainability, and design thinking. She has a degree in Atmosphere/Energy from Stanford University where she focused on design thinking and equity. From her time at Rocky Mountain Institute, she became a professional facilitator leading events with 200+ cities to help accelerate solar energy projects. Since them, she has worked on design thinking projects for companies such as The North Face, Leave No Trace, RMI, SRP, APS, The Exploratorium, Fidelity, Lily’s Sweets, CU Boulder, UC Santa Cruz, Zola Electric, Power for Parkinson’s, and eSource also. She hopes to transform the way we approach sustainability initiatives through pop-up innovation labs and empathetic design.

04. what sustains Leah
In her free time, Leah is sustained by creativity and nature. She has been playing guitar since she was 10 and loves how improvisation connects her with other and spurs creativity. She also loves running through the redwoods.
05. favorite tree
Sequoia trees are Leah’s favorite tree, which she named her dog after. They are resilient, beautiful, contain the wisdom of age, and have the thickest bark on earth.
